Do I need a lawyer after Ive been injured at work?
Lucas Foust:
Hi, I'm Lucas Foust from Foust Law Office and I'm here to answer a quick question, which may not be so quick, but I'll try to answer it in just about a minute.
Lucas Foust:
The question I receive is from people who've been injured at work. The question they often have is, do I need a lawyer to file my workers' compensation claim?
Lucas Foust:
Well, the first answer is no, you do not need a lawyer to file your workers' compensation claim. As a matter of fact, most cases in Montana, where a person is injured at work, that injured worker does not need a lawyer. When things get complicated or the insurance company denies your claim, that's when a lawyer may be helpful for you.
